5th Anniversary gifts are something none of us want to get wrong. There is nothing worse than handing over a what you think is the best anniversary gift in the world to your wife or husband and watch their face as disappointment quickly takes over their expression. Your 5th Wedding Anniversary is traditionally a wood item.  I was contimplating jewelry boxes the other day when looking for unique anniversary gift ideas.  Depending on your wife this could be a great anniversary gift idea or a horrible one it just depends on the person. My wife is one that loves her jewelry and I think a high quality jewelry box made from solid walnut, oak, cherry or other nice decorative hardwood makes perfect since. The problem you have when considering a jewelry box as an anniversary gift is what type to get. Do you buy on that is meant to sit on a chest of drawer or do your go for one that has legs and can stand on its own as a piece of furniture. I would say it all depends upon how much jewelry your wife has and her personal taste in furniture. Now I’m not saying that you should give an empty jewelry box as an anniversary gift. Much like giving a wallet or purse you should always include something inside to get the ball running. This is an excellent anniversary gift especially if you can’t afford expensive jewelry at the time. You could get a nice  jewelry box , and by nice I dont mean one from Wal-mart, but make sure to add a pair of earrings, bracelet or other small anniversary gift with it as well. This would make a great idea for your 5th wedding anniversary since traditionally that is something made of wood.
